Price: $31.49 | Compatible Instruments: SOUTH Green Housing S86, S86T GNSS RTK Base & Rover Station; Matching Cables: A00402 GPS Power Cable, L997Y GPS Data Cable; Other Survey Spares: Blue S86 Keypad, Green S82 Keypad, SET Series Rubber Key, SDR33 Data Cable

This OEM-spec Green S86 silicone keypad solves front panel operation faults of SOUTH green casing S86 RTK receiver: surface key text wears and fades after long outdoor field operation, silicone ages and hardens causing dead unresponsive keys, internal conductive metal domes degrade leading to intermittent trigger failure, damaged light guide results in dim uneven backlight under low-light tunnel conditions, generic replacement keypads with mismatched 4-key layout trigger function disorder, broken surrounding sealing rubber allows rain, mud and sand to seep inside and corrode main control PCB. Integrated 4-key silicone mat with built-in uniform backlight layer and IP67 waterproof dustproof sealing gasket, fully restores sensitive backlit power, reset and FN function key operation for highway control network static observation, open-pit mine long-term RTK monitoring, tunnel deformation baseline measurement and large-area rural cadastral mapping projects.

Product Overview

The SOUTH Green S86 dedicated replacement backlit silicone keypad is exclusive operation panel spare customized for green casing S86 / S86T GNSS RTK host, unified 4-key layout matching original factory hardware. Complete layered integrated structure: matte low-temperature resistant industrial green silicone outer key layer with laser-etched inner filled wear-resistant ink, independent stainless steel metal dome conductive contacts under each single key, built-in even backlight light guide film, pre-connected flexible FPC flat signal ribbon cable, surrounding closed-cell IP67 waterproof dustproof sealing rubber frame. Standard factory 4-key layout covers Power On/Off, RESET reset, FN function shortcut, quick mode switch key, perfectly match S86 RTK native survey software operation logic for static/dynamic mode switching, Bluetooth initialization and base-rover parameter adjustment. Laser engraving + secondary filling ink craft ensures key labels never fade after millions of repeated field presses; high elastic silicone maintains soft rebound without hardening under -20℃ cold plateau environments. Built-in independent uniform backlight light guide layer delivers balanced brightness for all four function keys, no dark individual buttons during underground and night stakeout work. Full-circle surrounding sealing rubber tightly fits instrument front housing, retains factory IP67 dust and splash waterproof rating after installation, blocks construction slurry, rainwater and fine sand from penetrating internal PCB to avoid main control chip short-circuit burnout. Direct FPC flat cable plug-in replacement without complicated circuit modification during instrument maintenance.

Core Advantages & Practical Structural Design

• 100% OEM 4-key layout dimension, FPC pin definition, backlight circuit and IP67 sealing frame fully consistent with factory original Green S86 keypad mat, direct one-piece replacement for worn, unresponsive or backlight-faulty original key panel
• Laser-etched inner filled character green silicone keys, ultra wear-resistant, eliminates surface printing fading defect of cheap imitation keypads after short outdoor usage cycles
• Independent stainless steel metal dome under every single key, stable signal trigger transmission, resolves intermittent input and dead key faults caused by aging conductive layer degradation
• Integrated uniform backlight light guide film, consistent brightness across all function keys, supports low-light tunnel and all-night continuous RTK monitoring operation
• Low-temperature resistant high-elastic green silicone substrate, no hardening, cracking or rebound loss under -20℃ cold mountain and plateau working environments
• Surrounding integrated IP67 closed-cell sealing rubber gasket, seamless fit instrument front shell, prevents water and dust corrosion of internal mainboard to extend S86 RTK service life
• Exclusive single-series compatibility: perfectly match SOUTH green shell S86 and S86T GNSS RTK receivers, coordinate with A00402 0B 5pin fuse power cable & L997Y multi-function data cable for complete field power & operation accessory set
• Compatible matching accessory: Trimble TSC3 / TSC2 Yellow Nylon Carrying Case ($25, 0.2kg, 18 × 12 × 10 cm)
• Thin flat flexible silicone integrated mat, independent anti-scratch plastic bag packaging, easy classified storage in instrument maintenance tool pouch alongside RTK power/data cables, total station keypads and optical mechanical spare parts

SOUTH S86 Green Shell RTK Front Panel Maintenance & Field Survey Application Scenarios

Necessary low-cost operation panel maintenance spare part for rural large-area cadastral boundary mapping, building construction automatic stakeout layout, municipal pipeline control network static measurement, small open-pit mine unmanned long-term RTK monitoring and simple foundation long-term settlement monitoring SOUTH GNSS projects. When original silicone keypad suffers faded characters, dead unresponsive keys or uneven dim backlight, survey maintenance technicians disassemble the front panel and replace with this full OEM backlit silicone mat, instantly restore smooth sensitive full-key input and uniform night backlight display, avoid frequent repeated pressing correction delaying static observation data collection progress. IP67 integrated full sealing design effectively isolate rain and tunnel slurry erosion of internal control circuit components; high-elastic anti-cold silicone adapts to all-weather outdoor construction environments. Store this Green S86 silicone backlit keypad mat and other tiny survey maintenance peripherals in our high-visibility yellow nylon data collector case; reinforced canvas belt loop supports waist hanging for convenient cross-region field instrument repair transport.
