Easy Installation & Charging Guide
1. Battery Installation
- Power off your Kolida total station or theodolite completely.
- Locate the battery compartment on the device (usually at the bottom or back).
- Open the compartment cover, align the battery’s positive (+) and negative (-) poles with the device’s contacts.
- Insert the battery firmly until it clicks into place, then close the cover securely.
2. Charging Instructions
- Use only the Kolida KC-20A dedicated charger (or a compatible charger for 6V NiMH batteries).
- Connect the charger to a 100–240V AC power outlet, then plug the charger into the battery’s charging port.
- The charger indicator light will turn red during charging; it will turn green when fully charged (approx. 4–6 hours for a full charge).
- Once charged, disconnect the charger and the battery is ready for use.
3. Safety & Usage Tips
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery, as this will shorten its service life.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from high temperatures, heat sources, or moisture.
- Never short-circuit the battery terminals, as this can cause damage or safety hazards.
- If the battery will not be used for a long time, charge it to about 50% capacity before storage, and recharge it every 3–6 months.
